CCFD conducts plan reviews of all new residential and commercial construction for compliance with fire and life safety codes. The fire department works in conjunction with the City Building and Planning Departments for all new construction and tenant improvements within California City. Application Step 2: 

Submit all hard copy plans and payments to City Hall for processing. All fees must be paid, along with a complete application, 3 sets of drawings, cut sheets, and any other necessary information such as calculations.  Electronic plans may be submitted to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the above and links to any applicable drop boxes or other similar services. Turnaround Time: Please allow up to four weeks for processing of all plans. Large facilities and/or multi-story buildings with complex systems may take significantly longer to process.
